Abstract
The card game Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Who Am I? stands out as a valuable teaching/learning tool, promoting the development of various skills such as strengthening ethnic-racial identity, stimulating critical thinking, reflecting on cultural diversity, and combating prejudice. In addition, the game encourages cooperation, empathy, and dialogue, fostering an inclusive and respectful environment in the school context. The game’s proposal aligns with the objectives of the research line “Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Vocational and Technological Education (VTE)” and with Macroproject 6 - “Organization of Pedagogical Spaces in VTE”. It is a game that can be used in various informal settings, such as: seminars and workshops focused on discussions about diversity, ethnic-racial relations, and inclusive education; training courses for professionals involved in heteroidentification boards, assisting in raising awareness and understanding of ethnic-racial issues; youth groups, promoting debates and raising awareness especially on racial identity and cultural diversity; as well as educational workshops with themes focused on building a more inclusive and respectful society regarding racial differences. Therefore, the game can be used by teachers, facilitators, cultural mediators, activists, and opinion leaders, as well as anyone interested in promoting discussions about identity, racism, and diversity in educational and social spaces.
