Abstract
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará (IFCE) - Fortaleza Campus adopts innovative pedagogical practices that are committed to the quality of teaching. These practices are reflected in the integrated curriculum of the technical course in Computer Science, which emphasizes an approach based on competencies and skills for contemporary professional performance. In this sense, this research aims to understand the pedagogical practices that guide the educational work of students on the Integrated High School Computer Science Technical Course at IFCE - Campus Fortaleza, using a case study methodology with a descriptive approach, based on documentary analysis of the Curriculum Matrix and Pedagogical Political Project documents, from 2005 to 2022, which the institution has made available. Through this methodology, the work results in the planning, development and evaluation of an educational product in the form of an approved and published E- book, presenting pedagogical practices that contribute to omnilateral training in the field of Informatics, as well as generating practical knowledge. The approach adopted in this research was qualitative, and in view of the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the technical IT course at IFCE - Campus Fortaleza can be considered an example for technical education, considering its commitment to continuous improvement and adaptation to the rapidly evolving environment of technology. The course strives to provide education that is relevant by keeping the curriculum up to date and integrating innovative teaching methodologies.
