Abstract
The students' disinterest in traditional education has been exacerbated in recent years due to various reasons, including outdated teaching methods and a lack of innovation that does not align with current demands. This issue is particularly noticeable in the teaching of Physics, where the traditional approach and the lack of technological integration contribute to the aversion of some students. The traditional education system, focused on memorization and standardized assessments, creates a competitive environment, suppressing genuine interest in learning. The implementation of the New High School did not address deep-rooted issues in education, such as the lack of updates to formative itineraries. To revitalize education, meaningful learning is crucial, allowing students to actively engage and apply knowledge in the real world. In this regard, the incorporation of experimental practices in Physics education has proven effective. This study proposes the application of low-cost and/or easily accessible educational experiments to make Physics teaching more dynamic and attractive, especially in public schools without adequate laboratory resources, as is the case in the school where the work was developed, located in Ouro Preto, MG. The experiments aim to involve students, contextualize learning, and spark interest, contributing to meaningful learning and civic education. This approach seeks to increase students' perception. teaching sequences, promoting a stimulating educational environment and preparing them for future challenges.
