A perda de receitas culinárias familiares em Paracatu de Baixo

Family recipes are part of the "structure" of building a family, passed down from generation to generation. With the rupture of the Fundão Dam in 2015, in the Paracatu de Baixo subdistrict, there was a loss of these recipes and family traditions. In this perspective, the research aims to analyze the impacts of the losses of family recipes and their consequences. An exploratory approach was adopted, focusing on highlighting local traditions and culture, with data collection through articles, documentaries, newspapers, dissertations, theses, and monographs. The results indicate that the losses of family recipes were radical and should be recovered. It is concluded that the responsible movements and companies should invest in projects to valorize the culture and rescue the local tradition.
