Abstract
This work's theme is Industry Modernization: Strategies Applied to Shopping Centers. Case study carried out to highlight the benefits that the modernization of the industry brings, as a trend that transcends economic sectors and covers the universe of shopping centers, which are one of the pillars of the retail industry. The dynamics of commerce and technological advancement impose constant challenges on shopping malls, requiring adaptations and strategies that are aligned with consumer demands and the expectations of a constantly evolving market. Modernizing the shopping center industry is a comprehensive process that involves multiple aspects, from physical infrastructure to integrating advanced technologies and creating memorable experiences for visitors. Faced with this problem, Industry 4.0 was the best way to solve the demand for optimizing energy use. Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, refers to a technological revolution that is transforming the manufacturing industry and production of goods in a significant way. It is characterized by the integration of digital technologies, advanced automation, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things (IoT) in industrial processes.
