Abstract
Physics teaching in Brazilian high schools faces challenges such as a shortage of teachers, teacher training, and the predominance of traditional methods that often lead to student disengagement. To promote an approach that encourages active participation, creativity, and critical thinking among students, this study proposes the development of an educational tool combined with an Inquiry-Based Teaching Sequence (SEI) to address the topic of the photoelectric effect (EFE). The main goal is to promote a critical understanding of the EFE, using the educational tool as a teaching resource. This tool has the potential to facilitate the development of scientific and investigative skills in students. Furthermore, the material is versatile and can be adapted to various educational contexts, including the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) program. The results of this project indicate that the combination of active pedagogical strategies and accessible technological resources can enhance the teaching of Physics in high school.
