Abstract
This article aims to describe the implementation of a Junior Enterprise (JE) at a Technology College, relating the process to issues pertinent to entrepreneurial education. The JE aims to provide students with practical experience in the business world, offering them an opportunity to apply their knowledge and develop their skills. The guiding methodology of the article is the case study, with data collection techniques including observations, participation in meetings, and surveys. Data analysis was qualitative. The implementation process of the JE was divided into three phases: 1) diagnosis and feasibility study (completed); 2) selection process (completed); and 3) team formation and initial organization of the JE (in progress). The information indicated significant adherence to the project, reflecting institutional and student interest. The use of the JE as a tool for entrepreneurial education is highlighted, as it helps to raise awareness of entrepreneurship, influence entrepreneurial attitudes, cultivate essential characteristics, develop business skills, and support entrepreneurs and companies. The JE plays an active role in preparing students for the current market, providing them with the opportunity to apply knowledge in practice, enriching their education, and contributing to the development of their skills. It is concluded that the project is viable and promising for promoting the academic and professional development of participants. It is hoped that this initiative will contribute to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, strengthening ties between the institution and the local community.
