Abstract
This final graduation work aims to serve as a basis for the creation of an ebook that aims to intensify the importance of gastronomy as a means of culinary practices that help in the search for a healthy diet in the first years of life, meeting the criteria of the food guide for Brazilian children under two years of age developed by the Ministry of Health. Breast milk, the main food in the first months of life, begins the feeding cycle and is recommended to be exclusive until six months of life and can be extended up to two years or more. We then move towards the beginning of food introduction, a process of great importance in the construction of the human being, aiming at the benefits of a balanced diet from the first years of life. The objective of this work is to raise awareness and encourage caregivers of children to establish culinary practices that facilitate daily life and the preparation of food offered to children up to three years of age, aiming for well-being, health and personal development.
