Abstract
This study investigates the impact of digitalization on employee motivation and identifies practices and strategies that companies can adopt to sustain motivation in a digital environment. The research, theoretical in nature, reveals that digitalization significantly transforms company operations and employee roles, creating both challenges and opportunities. Automation and artificial intelligence facilitate complex and creative tasks but may also cause insecurity about the future of employment. Remote work, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, has proven to be an important opportunity to improve employee satisfaction, though it also brings challenges such as social isolation. Continuous learning, digital skill development, and the implementation of digital recognition systems are effective strategies to enhance employee motivation and engagement. However, the research highlights the need for empirical studies to validate the findings and explore the practical application of the suggested strategies, considering different sectors and organizational contexts.
