Abstract
This work aims to bring a discussion, through a literature review, about one of the challenges that permeate the discipline of Mathematics: the feeling of aversion towards the subject by many students in basic education. When we talk about education, we are referring to Mathematics teachers and the training process of Mathematics graduates, who are directly involved with students from the final years of elementary school to the third year of high school. We correlate teacher training with the feelings of aversion among students across different educational stages, analyzing how the motivational reasons behind students' aversion may be connected to the teacher-student relationship.
Resumo
Este trabalho tem por objetivo trazer uma discussão, por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica, sobre um dos desafios que permeiam a disciplina de Matemática: o sentimento de repulsa à disciplina por parte de muitos estudantes da educação básica. Ao falar de educação, falamos dos docentes em Matemática, e do processo de formação dos licenciados em Matemática, que estão envolvidos diretamente com os alunos dos anos finais do fundamental até o 3º ano do Ensino Médio. Correlacionamos a formação docente com os sentimentos de repulsa nos alunos dos diversos ciclos formativos, analisando com as situações dos porquês motivacionais da repulsa nos jovens estudantes podem estar conexas com a relação professor-aluno.
