Abstract
The objective of this study was to evaluate the correlation between nutrition and the incidence of coffee cercosporiosis (Cercospora coffeicola), performing leaf analysis on samples from different crops in production or formation in the municipalities of Camacho, Cristais, Campo Belo and Aguanil, in the southern region of Minas Gerais. The experiment was conducted in the laboratories of the IFMG Campus Bambuí, where the leaf samples were dried, ground and sent for chemical analysis. Then, the results obtained were compared to values in the literature, analyzed and discussed. It was concluded that, in general, nutritional balance has a direct relationship with the incidence of cercosporiosis, nutritional imbalance was the main aggravating factor of the disease.
