Abstract
Process standardization is essential to ensure better results and the correct progress of the company. It is common to notice that when standardized work is not applied, there is a direct impact on the efficiency of processes and their adherence to the expected methods, which can cause instabilities in the flow of information and data, leading to non-compliance with the delivery and quality deadlines requested by the client.The objective of this article was to describe the importance of project management with the standardization of its processes in a Project Contract Management management and how these concepts can be applied for efficient contract management. The results obtained, such as standardization and optimization of processes, clarity of roles and responsibilities, identification and adjustments of process bottlenecks, guarantee of storage and traceability of information and documents issued, were based on the use of some tools: RACI Matrix, SIPOC, Flowcharts, BPM Cycle, GUT Matrix and 5W1H, which indicate an improvement in the efficiency and performance of the organization's management with a focus on results and continuous improvement, standardizing knowledge and work methods.
