Abstract
The aim of this final project is to serve as support for the creation of culinary workshops, using gastronomy as a tool to promote healthy eating during childhood, following the recommendations provided by the Food Guide for Children Under Two Years Old. It is crucial to emphasize that healthy eating during childhood is essential for children’s healthpromotion. The purpose of this work is to identify and propose practical actions involving nutritional, social, and educational aspects through gastronomy. A bibliographical research was conducted to identify practical actions involving gastronomy and food education, which could be applied in promoting children’s dietary health. Through this research, it was possible to identify practical actions and develop a proposal for a hands-on culinary workshop targeted at children, utilizing gastronomic techniques. These proposed practical actions aim to encourage the adoption of healthy eating habits, as well as foster creativity through the activities designed for this workshop.
