Abstract
"Escutatória" is an educational tool developed to promote the recording, identification, and support of cases of bullying and violence in schools, based on the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) by Marshall Rosenberg and Paulo Freire's dialogical pedagogy. Inspired by the text by Rubem Alves that lends its name to the product, Escutatória provides a secure, confidential, and accessible channel for students to share their experiences, either anonymously or with identification. The tool combines technology and humanization, allowing the upload of evidence while ensuring confidentiality. Furthermore, it includes a support framework designed for both victims and aggressors, fostering active listening, empathy, and the restoration of relationships. Its design caters to the context of Professional and Technological Education (PTE) but has the potential to be adapted for municipal and state education systems. The primary goal of Escutatória is to build a school culture of dialogue and respect, transforming the way conflicts and instances of violence are addressed, and contributing to a safer, more inclusive, and more humane educational environment.
