Abstract
This study aims to provide an analytical overview of the quantitative data from the National Student Performance Exam (ENADE) results for the years 2015, 2018 and 2022, obtained by students of the Technology in Managerial Processes (TPG) program offered by the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG), Ribeirão das Neves campus. The analysis is based on data available in reports from the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP). The study includes an overview of the TPG program and the city of Ribeirão das Neves, a summary of ENADE, the supporting methodology and a detailed analysis of the results, focusing on the program’s performance rating, administrative category, academic organization, student performance, and students’ perceptions of the exam. The findings suggest that the program follows a trend similar to other public higher education institutions. Over time, a decline in the program’s ENADE rating has been observed. Finally, the study proposes actions aimed at improving future results.
