Abstract
The Instagram profile @terminalidadeespecifica was created as an educational product aimed at disseminating information about Specific Terminality (TE) in inclusive education. The choice of this social network was based on its practicality, interactivity, and ability to facilitate content assimilation through images and videos. According to Cruz and Rodrigues (2022), Instagram enables new ways of producing and disseminating knowledge, making learning more accessible and engaging. The target audience consists of professionals directly involved in TE certification, working in inclusive education and technical and vocational education. The profile not only shares information based on theoretical and field research conducted during the master's program but also serves as a communication channel on the subject, promoting best practices and reflections on inclusion. It uses various platform tools such as posts, stories, and educational videos. The visual identity was carefully designed to represent diversity and inclusion, incorporating different gender identities, ethnicities, and physical conditions. The blue and orange color palette was strategically chosen to convey trust, energy, and optimism, fostering audience engagement. Graphic elements, fonts, and images were selected to reinforce the message of respect and equity, creating an inclusive and welcoming virtual space. The profile's content is structured into three main categories: 1. Inclusive Education – addressing fundamental concepts and challenges of this educational approach. 2. Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) – exploring its relationship with inclusion and the application of TE. 3. Specific Terminality – explaining its meaning, possibilities, and impacts. Based on these themes, 62 posts were created, including concepts, curiosities, tips, and practical examples, as well as videos featuring experts. The objective is to enhance understanding of Specific Terminality and promote reflections on a more equitable and accessible education. The profile is expected to continue being updated after the dissertation defense, serving as an ongoing knowledge dissemination platform on TE in the context of inclusive education in TVE. The evaluation of the profile’s first phase confirmed that its educational objectives were being met. The accessible and didactic information-sharing approach, combined with Instagram’s engagement potential, proved to be an effective strategy for fostering discussions on inclusion. This educational product is expected to contribute to the development of inclusive pedagogical practices, breaking down barriers and valuing students' potential. Thus, the @terminalidadeespecifica profile emerges as an innovative initiative for disseminating information on Specific Terminality, promoting inclusion, and ensuring fundamental educational rights for all.
