Abstract
Washing machines are electromechanical devices designed to automate the process of washing clothes. They play a crucial role in everyday life, providing an efficient and convenient way of washing clothes, saving a large amount of time and resources. IoT or Internet of Things (Translated as Internet of Things), is a connection between objects sharing information through an integrated network system. It is understood that with the introduction of this technology means of communication, data research, integrated manufacturing systems, among others, it is enhanced by faster data transfer and analysis, bringing more agility to industrial systems. The connection between objects brings a colossal advance towards modernization, transforming everyday life. IoT is not limited to industry alone, after all, smart homes are no longer a thing of tomorrow. Television, air conditioning, washing machine, sound systems, windows, security cameras, doors and gates transform a simple house into a single and integrated system easily controlled by cell phone, gesture recognition or voice, just a stable connection between objects and that they are all connected to the same network. The main objective of this work is to develop a prototype of an electronic system composed of an Esp32 microcontroller, Nextion display and Android application using different communication protocols with the ability to communicate over long distances, to monitor, parameterize and control a washing machine of any brand, model and year of manufacture.
