Sistema Light Steel Framing aplicado a projetos COHAB em substituição à alvenaria estrutural: análise dos custos diretos

This research compares the Direct Cost of Social Housing constructions using the Light Steel Framing (LSF) versus the Structural Masonry system through the difference between their budgets and analysis the aspects for the differences. The source for the costs and quantities was the SINAPI of Minas Gerais state. The methodology used was based on literature reviews of dissertations, thesis, undergraduate thesis, book and magazines. Besides that, a design was carried out for the same type of Social Housing in Light Steel Framing system. The basis for the cost estimating was the unitary composition of the structural model, adapted Cohab model (MG-90-I-2-41), object of this study. Therefore, the research process allowed the evaluation of the construction ways studied and made possible the comparison of Light Steel Framing System’s costs in the construction of Social Housing. From the results found, it was possible to observe that the construction model, despite presents a higher cost, also presents advantages that might be considered for the feasibility studies.
