Abstract
The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is characterized by all the impacting activities and environmental factors that can suffer impacts of activities that use natural resources, which can be grouped in the physical, biotic and socioeconomic environments, varying with the characteristics and the phase of the project. In this context, the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais Campus São João Evangelista (IFMG-SJE) carries out several agricultural and agroindustrial activities aimed at teaching and production, but many of these activities are capable of generating adverse environmental impacts that deserve attention in the face of environmental regularization. Thus, the objective is to carry out an evaluative case study of environmental impacts with a view to elaborating the Environmental Control Plan (PCA) of the IFMG-SJE. The work of the EIA for the case study in question was mainly based on the Environmental Diagnosis and Environmental Prognosis, according to the guidelines of CONAMA Resolution 01/1986. The qualitative evaluation and the propositions of measures represented by the environmental productive flow of each potentially polluting activity of the Campus were obtained, with the identification of the inputs and outputs of the production processes, the inputs being necessary and the outputs being the products and by-products generated from the transformation process (desirable) or waste and (undesirable) impacts. Based on this prognosis, the main impacts of the activities were highlighted, as well as the main prepositions of the necessary measures to mitigate them, organized in the form of PCA.
