Abstract
Many concepts are abstract and difficult to represent visually, especially in Physics, where conducting experiments in school laboratories can be challenging due to the lack of adequate materials or limited resources. In this scenario, Virtual Learning Objects (VLO) stand out as essential tools, enabling the simulation and visualization of manifestations that cannot be easily reproduced in everyday life. Using the H5P tool, integrated with the Virtual Teaching and Learning Environment (AVEA/Moodle) of IFMG-Bambuí, we developed a set of 10 VLOs aimed at the Physics subject of the 1st year of High School, with an emphasis on the themes of Uniform Rectilinear Motion (MRU) and Uniformly Varied Motion (MRUV). We sought to develop materials that featured animations (such as gifs to illustrate movements or the gradual construction of graphs), interactive activities (such as dragging and dropping symbols to form equations or choosing a finishing point for an athlete moving at constant speed), educational games (such as crossword puzzles for students to find the physical quantities taught in the content or memory games for students to relate images to their respective equations), among others. The creation of the OVAs enabled the development of a lesson plan that seeks to improve teaching by providing an interactive approach to student learning. Although their application in the classroom has not yet been carried out, the integration of technological resources such as animations and educational games demonstrates the potential of educational technologies in the modernization of teaching. Thus, this work highlights how technological innovation and creativity can offer new possibilities for teaching Physics in the school environment.
