Abstract
This study presents the application of the Scrum agile methodology in managing a project for the development of an electronic control module for hybrid vehicles in the automotive industry. The research compares the agile approach with traditional project management methodologies, highlighting improvements in flexibility, team engagement, and delivery quality. Conducted as a qualitative case study, the project was structured in iterative sprints focused on incremental deliveries and continuous validation. The adoption of Scrum proved to be effective in risk management, adapting to changing requirements, and enhancing communication among multidisciplinary teams. The findings indicate that the agile approach promotes greater predictability, reduced rework, and higher value delivery in technically complex environments such as automotive engineering.
