Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the parameters of raw refrigerated milk quality in both individual and collective cooling tanks, examining the results in relation to local seasonality. Milk, due to its nutritional and economic importance, is fundamental in human nutrition and in the livestock production chain, making quality monitoring crucial. The research involved rural properties near Divinolândia de Minas, Peçanha, and Virginópolis, Minas Gerais, with monthly sample collections sent to the Clínica do Leite laboratory in Piracicaba, São Paulo. Producers were divided into two groups: G1, using collective tanks, and G2, with individual tanks. During the study period, technical support was provided to improve management and hygiene practices. The study took place from January to December 2024, encompassing seasonal variations that directly influenced production conditions and milk quality, with data provided by the dairy receiving the production. Milk samples were collected in sterilized bottles, prior to the alizarol test, to assess thermal stability and general acidity. The research showed that based on the type of cooling tank used, it is not possible to determine which is more effective for ensuring the microbiological safety of milk produced in the Divinolândia de Minas – MG region. The study offers an in-depth view of the relationship between climatic conditions and milk quality, contributing to the improvement of milk production quality in the region and promoting good hygiene and management practices available to producers.
