Desenvolvimento de um novo layout para uma empresa de usinagem mecânica

Abstract

The objective of the work is to develop a new layout capable of improving the production of a machining and welding company, aiming to reduce the five wastes of Toyota management: overproduction, waiting, transportation, excessive movement, and defects. The new layout was created taking into account the safety of employees, aiming to ensure a work environment free of accidents. With the implementation of this project, a more efficient and waste-free production is expected, resulting in higher product quality and increased customer satisfaction.
