Abstract
As part of this research, was conducted a study on the feasibility of using the Roblox platform to create Learning Virtual Objects (LVOs). The aim was to investigate the potential application of this tool by teachers without programming experience, with the goal of expanding the use of LVOs in the educational environment. To achieve this objective, was used the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology, which proved suitable for defining the scope of construction of two artifacts: a tutorial for non-programming teachers and the LVOs themselves generated from this tutorial. Following the creation of these artifacts and an in-depth exploration of the platform, it is concluded that while Roblox provides an intuitive environment for creation, it is still necessary to have prior programming knowledge to address the challenges inherent in constructing the proposed experiences. Consequently, the Roblox platform can be considered a viable option for creating LVOs, provided that the user has a basic understanding of programming to manage the creation of scripts. This study highlights the importance of continuous development of innovative educational tools, as well as the need for technical preparation of teachers to effectively use such resources in the teaching-learning process.
