Abstract
Ladders are very commonly used elements in the civil construction to unite different floor levels. The construction of this work was made based on the literature that approaches the themes ladders and reinforced concrete. In the progress of this work were approached relevant themes for the fully understanding of the sizings that were made. The software, product of this work, have as objective, support the students on the sizing and improvement of the calculation process of the supported pleated ladders. All the calculation routine was programed in a way that follows the criteria of the Brazilian technical standards, NBR 6118:2014, NBR 6120:2019, NBR 9050:2020, NBR 9077:2001. To authenticate the results provided by the software, there were made calculation examples, in wich they were solved all manually and after this process the results provided were compared to each other, the ones given by the software and the ones given manually. At last, the results were proved satisfactory and show that it is possible to automate the calculation process, however, the software has some limitations that are related to the detailing of the armors provided by the software and also the calculation of the armors to resist the shear stress, since using this kind of armor is not often needed.
