Abstract
The Building Information Modeling (BIM) usage enables a virtual model's in the construction that allows the errors' identification and incompatibilities still in the design phase by its integration, inoperability and compatibility's capacity. Therefore, the present work aimed to develop a computational routine for the design of two-supported beams in reinforced concrete integrated with the BIM concept, interacting with Microsoft Excel, Dynamo and Revit. For this it was first necessary to conduct a literature review of the relevant concepts to the subject to enable the development of a spreadsheet for the geometric and structural design of two-supported rectangular beams exposed to simple bending, considering simple reinforcement and concrete with fck ≤ 50 MPa, it was also necessary to develop two programming routines in Dynamo for data transfer from Revit to Excel and from Excel to Revit. With the routine development it was possible to demonstrate the applicability of the automated interaction of Revit and Excel, and the BIM usage value.
