Abstract
The soy (Glycine max L.) is one of the most important crops for the world economy compared to other crops grown in the world. Its genetic improvement came to identify genotypes with high productivity, production stability and extensive adaptability to the most varied environments. To increase productive efficiency during cultivation, several genotypes adapted to each region were developed, which may vary their characteristics when cultivated in different environments. Aiming at its importance in the Midwest region of Minas Gerais, the present work aimed to evaluate the phenotypic and productive characteristics of different genotypes. The experiment was conducted at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais - Bambuí campus. Five different genotypes were implanted under field conditions, each one in a stand of eight lines each line with 10 meters each, with random position. Data were collected 15 days after the emergence of the plants of each of the five implanted genotypes, as to the initial stand, interline closure, pubescence color, flower color, flowering days, first pod insertion, plant height. , growth habit, number of pods per plant, number of grains per plant, number of grains per pod, major diseases, lodging, maturation, one thousand grain mass and yield. The genotype RHP0017 had the shortest flowering time. The RHP0016 and RHP0013 genotypes calmed less, and the RHP0017 genotype caudinated more. The RHP0017 genotype presented higher productivity. The genotype RHP0014 presented all diseases found in the experimental area.
