Abstract
This study automatically mapped the main themes of 1,258 dissertations from the Professional Master’s Program in Public Administration (2015–2023) to provide a comprehensive overview of its research lines. Using a BERTopic based pipeline integrating multilingual embeddings, dimensionality reduction, and density-based clustering—24 topics were identified, reflecting areas such as quality of work life, sustainability in public procurement, remote work, inclusion policies, and information transparency. Each topic was assigned a label and description generated by a language model, facilitating the interpretation of thematic clusters. Additionally, a Quarto dashboard was developed, featuring interactive graphical visualizations of the documents and term frequency, enabling researchers and managers to explore and compare trends over the analyzed period. The results contribute to a systematic understanding of the PROFIAP landscape and offer a support tool for policy formulation and the guidance of new research in the field.
