Aqui está a tradução do resumo para o inglês: --- **This educational product is the result of research conducted within the scope of the Professional Master's Degree in Geography Teaching – PROFGEO, under the research line "Geographical Knowledge and Understanding in the School Context," at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais – Ouro Preto Campus. The proposal presented here was developed based on the dissertation entitled "Guidelines for the Development of Teaching Materials by School Geography Teachers: Creating to Teach," defended on May 13, 2025, by Edivar Magalhães Júnior, under the supervision of Professor Venilson Luciano Benigno Fonseca. The research aimed to reflect on the processes of creating teaching materials in Geography education, offering guidelines to support teaching practice. Seeking to bridge academic results with their application in the school environment, this educational product was developed as an outcome of the dissertation: the guide “How to Create Teaching Materials for School Geography Education: A Practical Guide for Teachers.” This material was designed to assist Geography teachers in creating more effective, meaningful, and coherent teaching resources aligned with the foundations of the discipline and the demands of education. It is expected that the guide will contribute to more creative, critical, and contextualized pedagogical practices, strengthening the teaching of Geography in schools. The dissertation and its educational product were supported by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – CAPES, through the granting of a scholarship.**
