A mudança começa em mim: cartilha de introdução ao letramento racial

This work, in the format of a booklet, was developed as an educational product of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education – ProfEPT at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais (IFMG) – Ouro Branco Campus. As such, this product is intended to serve as a support resource for teachers, educators, and other professionals in the field of education. As a result of the research entitled “Rethinking the Curriculum of Integrated High School: the (dis)connection between what is said and what is done for a liberating and anti-racist education,” which is part of the macroproject “Organization of the Integrated Curriculum in Professional and Technological Education (EPT)” and of the Research Line “Organization and Memory of Pedagogical Spaces in EPT,” this booklet was created out of the need to reflect on the implementation of Laws 10.639/2003 and 11.645/2008 in educational practices and on the inclusion of ethnic-racial themes in the Integrated High School curriculum.
