Abstract
Aiming to contribute with the lack of content and materials of electric inside the Building Information Modeling - BIM methodology, this work has as objective, from the Autodesk REVIT software, create the families and elements necessary for the elaboration of a project of photovoltaic generation for a B1 client of the Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais - CEMIG. This way, the simulation of the plant sizing was performed, obtaining guidance for modeling the 3D families referring to the photovoltaic devices, such as solar modules and frequency inverter. The appearance characteristics and electrical specifications were taken from datasheets and manufacturers' catalogs, seeking a high level of fidelity to the real models. Allied to the 3D families, 2D families were also made, seeking to supply the need for information and documentation of the photovoltaic project on a board. Afterwards, all the families were agglomerated and organized into a project model, template, a work environment that received previous configuration to carry out the project in a practical and efficient way. Through the final functionality test, it was possible to conclude that the template met the objective of the work, being possible to manage the wiring diagram, trace the conduit routes, create detail views and give a glimpse of the future regarding the installation of the plant in the residence's environments.
