Abstract
This study analyzes how leadership development programs contribute to the formation of effective leaders in the corporate environment. The research was conducted through a bibliographic and systematic review, using databases such as Google Scholar, CAPES Journals, and SciELO, allowing the identification of different approaches, methods, and practices related to leadership training. The results show that organizations use various types of programs, such as traineeships, coaching, mentoring, job rotation, leadership development plans (LDPs), and in-company training, each aimed at different audiences and with specific purposes. It was observed that methods such as workshops, structured courses, experience sharing, career planning, and experiential activities are widely used to develop technical, behavioral, and strategic competencies. The analysis of case studies, including initiatives such as the LideraGOV Program and corporate programs of large companies, highlighted positive impacts on leadership training, team engagement, and the consolidation of organizational culture. It is concluded that well-structured programs aligned with institutional reality strengthen managers' performance, promote improvements in the organizational climate, and contribute to the sustainability and competitiveness of companies. Despite the positive results, the study also highlights limitations related to data availability and the absence of direct empirical research, suggesting that future work should explore comparative analyses and long-term impact assessments.
