Abstract
The educational product is a strategic pedagogical approach in the form of a gamified platform based on Moodle that supports the processes of the Educational Complementation Grant Program (PBCE). Learning the steps, documents, and processes involved in the program is essential for its successful implementation. It is implemented by EPTNM and undergraduate students, under the guidance of an Administrative Technician in Education or a professor. The academic workload of secondary vocational education (EPTNM) and undergraduate students is substantial, and organizing their studies is crucial. In addition to the academic workload, scholarship students must complete 20 hours per week to complete their project, which can lead to discouragement due to the extra workload. In this sense, the educational product helps with organization and promotes student engagement in learning the processes and documents used in the PBCE. To this end, a Treasure Hunt Game was created as a platform, using Moodle resources and the Block Games and Stash plugins. Through it, students play as pirates on a ship's crew. In the game, students navigate through the PBCE phases, earning points by completing tasks. As they earn points, they level up and contribute to their ship's score (the sum of the crew members' scores). Success in the game is achieved by students who collect the treasure chest in the final phase, which translates into completion of all PBCE stages and processes. Game elements, such as scoring, challenges, level progression, feedback, and rewards, kept students engaged and contributed to improved management and learning of the PBCE processes.
