Muito mais do que dinheiro: valoração crítica dos serviços ambientais culturais providos pelo Parque Estadual Mata do Limoeiro.

This work sought to develop a study on the valuation of cultural environmental services provided by the Mata do Limoeiro State Park from a critical analysis. In line with the Critical Theory of Sustainability, which brings an approach that enables the questioning of estimates based on financial aspects, a non-economic valuation method was developed using quantitative and qualitative research with application of a semi-structured questionnaire, word cloud analysis and treatment information with Business Intelligence – BI. Through a dashboard where the results of the investigated questions were plotted, it was possible to understand the intensity and the values perceived about the protected area. Through this approach, bringing the image of the conservation unit as a methodological operator to understand the perception of the interviewees and to value it, this study identified that the Mata do Limoeiro State Park is understood as a space of nature, preservation and peace. In addition, it was noticed that there is a difference regarding the relevance of the activities performed by the park: while the public with relationships is concerned with social actions, tourists are concerned with the enjoyment of natural attractions, demonstrating the relevance of the park's role as formative and articulating space for social participation and protective action of natural heritage.
