Implantação do sistema de biblioteca Pergamum no IFMG – Campus Bambuí: avaliação do uso e da satisfação dos alunos

With the speed of development of new technologies and increasingly advanced software, it is important that libraries and information centers that perform various kinds activities, to fulfill routine management and service delivery to their users, be attentive to new tools by automating, so routines and services. After the implementation of Pergamum library system in IFMG-Campus Bambuí, became interested in analyzing the characteristics of users, often seeking information, satisfaction and performance against the deployed new library system. Therefore, the following question was asked: What is the shape the use and satisfaction of students IFMG-Campus Bambuí, with Pergamum system deployment process in the library that campus? This research was characterized as descriptive and quantitative. Data collection was conducted through a survey questionnaire, in which the universe researched was composed of students enrolled in IFMG-Campus Bambuí, and high school students Subsequent, East Integrated and higher. To determine the amount of sample unit, the rule ten known in question has been used and subsequently it was statistically analyzed using a factorial analysis. 180 questionnaires were applied in validated; to perform the tabulation of the data, we used Excel software and to process and analyze the responses we used the statistical software SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences), version 20.0., in which it noted the frequent use of the library by the respondents also agree that a good use of Pergamum system, despite the need for training beyond the satisfaction, motivation with the information retrieved in the system.
