Abstract
Hospital automation has shown itself to be a rapidly expanding area, offering solutions that optimize resource management and the quality of activities. With the advancement of technology and the development of supervision systems, it is possible to integrate several processes, from the control of specific applications to the complete management of an establishment, resulting in greater efficiency and safety for the system. In this context, this work presents the process of developing a prototype on a reduced scale to simulate the automated management of a hospital. The project uses an Arduino and the integration of sensors through Modbus communication, enabling the implementation of a more comprehensive system. The process can be monitored from a supervisory system that communicates with the software Elipse E3. This integration allows the hospital to better manage what is happening in the entire structure, reducing the obstacles faced by the entire network, as well as offering greater comfort for hospitalized patients. Two main methodologies were used to make decisions at work, namely the Double Diamond method and the GUT Matrix, in this way it is possible to better define the focal points that will be worked on in the project.
