Abstract
The cement industry, known for its operational complexity, has several processes, including cement grinding. Adequate bearing lubrication appears as a fundamental strategy for the effective operation of equipment, avoiding unscheduled downtime and high repair costs. In this sense, the objective of this work is to develop a specific lubrication plan for the equipment involved in the cement grinding process in a cement industry. A comprehensive survey of all equipment, its components and relevant lubrication points was carried out, considering information such as operating speed and temperature, types and sizes of bearings and bearings, as well as installation locations. Based on this data, the essential parameters for the lubrication plan were defined and dimensioned, including selection of the type of financing, required quantity, appropriate lubrication frequency, method to be used, detailed tools and equipment operating conditions. In summary, it is concluded that the proposed lubrication plan can guarantee a longer useful life of equipment and consumable items (such as bearings), culminating in better operational efficiency.
