Abstract
This work aims to analyze a little of the evolution of the history of iron ore exploration and steel manufacturing and to note that technological evolution currently allows the manufacture of steel with resistance that increasingly slender structures with equal or greater resistance. To illustrate, the requested efforts will be applied to a metallic structure called profile I. This is a case study of a technical solution applied in the mining sector where there is a need to eliminate the use of a sledgehammer to carry out an opening. on a nut on top of a cone crusher used to crush rocks in the mining process. The replacement of the crusher blanket is carried out manually and goes through a mechanized process where the effort evidence process was carried out by a metallic structure. To analyze the results, a study will be carried out with the objective of verifying whether a metallic structure built to carry out the occurrence of hydraulic torque is efficient and whether there are other construction configurations that can be as efficient, but at the same time more economical.
